Contemporary fashion star Marc Jacobs is bringing more of his 1970's influenced color palette to the accessories of French fashion staple Louis Vuitton.  The designer, who created the sweet luggage pieces for the Wes Anderson journey film The Darjeeling Limited last year, showed metallic mustard- and dark-blue colored handbags at the French label's Paris Fashion Week presentation (Jacobs is LV's art director).

Like many of the Marc Jacobs designs debuted at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, several of the LV bags were accented by metallic braided rope.

The shoes were hot, if not a bit busy.  They'd definitely make a great conversation piece.
