Retiring the Pen Name Mr. Chow

After reading Ms. Penelope Trunk’s blog two days ago about why one shouldn’t blog anonymously and during my moment of clarity at 3:00 am after I stepped out of Mollywee at 30^th street and 8^th avenue last Thursday, I decided to retire the pen name MR. CHOW.  I have nothing to hide.  Nor fear.  ChowJobs was created to help people.  In addition to what I hope to be humorous advice and anecdotes to make the job hunting process as less stressful as possible, this blog’s primary focus is to provide job leads to those who want to work in New York City because they see this place as an embodiment of their ambitions. 

MR. CHOW is William Cadenilla, not a Chinese Guru.  I definitely do not look like Jackie Chan.  I won’t show you my picture but for those who want to know more about me my LinkedIn profile is located at http://www.linkedin.com/pub/11/b04/ba8.  I have no certifications which would label me an expert on career placement.  What I am is a very experienced job hunter, so experienced I should be awarded a PhD for all the pain and suffering I have to endure.  I helped a girlfriend harassed by her bosses, clients, and so-called work friends move from job-to-job in the last three years.  I’m not talking about helping her move two jobs in one year.  I’m talking about many jobs.  So many I couldn’t bear to count anymore because it’s making me very angry at those people.  You have no idea how I want to hurt those people!  I never believe in turning the other cheek but I learned to be calm by selling my soul to the devil so that those people may __________ (fill in the blanks with the most horrible things)!  But enough about my own rage.  

Moving on…more job leads are coming in the next few days and a complete revision of this blog’s “About” section.  Also to those of you wondering why there was no post last Thursday, I believe the Fuhrer of BofA somehow instructed my web hosting service at Dreamhost to shut down my service for a day.  You have no idea how that made me very angry!
