Mohair Wool Variegated Blend Yarn

I am working on a blend of mohair and wool variegated yarn.  I washed my fleeces first.  I am using a rambouillet fleece from one of my covered sheep and a mohair fleece from one of my white angora yearling does.  I dyed them together in three colors of garnet, myrtle green and violet.  Having trouble drying as it is monsoon season here in the desert and there is moisture in the air.  My mohair actually started to mold and I had to rewash it.  I am picking it out wet to allow air in so that it can dry properly. My son and I are using hand-carders to gently card the colors and fibers together.  Once carded I will spin them into yarn.  I will add a photo when it is all done.  Anyone else having trouble drying?
