The major east coast snow storm dropped plenty of snow in my area. We received over two feet of snow.The snow started falling and accumulating around 10 PM on Friday night. CHARLES TOWN - A parade slated to take place today in Harpers Ferry is shaping up to be the largest the community has ever had. The Harpers Ferry Christmas Parade is scheduled to take place at 2:30 p.m. today, starting at the Harpers Ferry Visitors Center and proceeding down Washington Street to Friendship Fire Department.

HARPERS FERRY - It may have lacked 76 trombones, but the dozen or so fire trucks in Saturday's Harpers Ferry holiday parade provided just as much noise. Sunny skies and relatively mild temperatures in Harpers Ferry greeted those attending the event, which was rescheduled from last weekend when the parade was cancelled due to inclement weather. The parade stepped off on time at 2:30 p.m.
