Brendan Shanahan has made a ruling regarding Philadelphia Flyers winger Harry Zolnierczyk and his hit on Mike Lundin Saturday afternoon.
Zolnierczyk has been suspended four games for charging.
Shanahan explains in the video (below) that, "Instead of delivering a hard, legal check, he (Zolnierczyk) launches prior to the check making significant contact to Lundin's head. This is charging."
Zolnierczyk was given a five-minute major as well as a game misconduct for the hit.
