Roulston came in second to reigning world champion Bradley Wiggins of Britain. According to Stuff.co.nz , "For Roulston, 27, it marked the end of a bumpy journey which included two brushes with law and a health scare that had forced him into early retirement." About 2 years ago his doctors told him to stop competing lest he aggravate a heart condition. Roulston didn't listen.
