Male Herpes

It is difficult to be aware about the symptoms if one is unaware of the herpes. If one becomes aware of the disease then it is easier for the person to diagnose the disease. Two main types of herpes are found.

HSV-1
HSV-2

Both the virus can affect the genital region. HSV-1 mainly affects the oral area and results in cold sore or blisters. The genital herpes caused by HSV-1 is not of the severe type. HSV-2 is more severe. The boom in medical industry has lead to possible ways to diagnose the problem and can be controlled. If people study about the disease and keep themselves update about the disease it becomes easier for them to recognize the symptoms. Male herpes symptoms can be noticed around the genital area with sensation of itching or tingling sensation and the area infected may get swollen. The symptoms start with red spots on the penis, buttocks and anus. After some time small infection turn into blisters, and then the pain comes into role. This stage is reached in 2-3 weeks. The healing process role comes when the open sores begin to scab or role of fibrogen comes.

The other symptoms of male herpes can be recognised in men during urination. Burning sensation is felt during urination, lymph nodes in the groin gets swollen, lack of energy, fever, headache and constipation. If these symptoms are felt after being sexually active with the unfamiliar partner, one may have been infected with the virus. The herpes symptoms can be acknowledge within 3-7 days after sexual contact with the infected with the person. One must be aware of the status of the partner if he or she is infected with the virus. It becomes easier if proper attention is paid about the disease and outbreaks are under control. The outbreaks in the beginning are painful and more severe and the later outbreaks are not as severe as the first one. The pain is also reduced n the later outbreaks.

If the infection is noticed in the beginning then the doctor must be consulted right away. Genital herpes becomes easier to handle if it gets diagnosed at an early stage. People can have active and normal life even after they get positive check for the virus. It has been noticed that men become depressed as their sexual life may pose a problem and the disease may even infect his partner. Sometimes people don’t even disclose to their partners about the disease. Once the symptoms get diagnosed it can be easily treated with consistent medical checkups and medicine.
