Heathcliff Andrew Ledger is an Academy Award -nominated Australian actor. In 1999, Ledger starred in the Hollywood teen comedy 10 Things I Hate about You and also had the lead role in the acclaimed Australian movie Two Hands, directed by Gregor Jordan.
He went on to star in The Patriot as Mel Gibson's character's son, Monster's Ball as Billy Bob Thornton's character's son, A Knight's Tale, Ned Kelly as the title character, The Order, and The Brothers Grimm co-starring Matt Damon.
The pop world has their Justin Timberlake, TV has McDreamy, and blockbusters have George Clooney. Though they may act too cool for it, the indie film scene has a pimp Casanova in their midst; Spike Jonze. The film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is widely believed to be Heath Ledger's last work before he was found dead in his NYC apt in January of last year. Now however, a music video that Heath directed has started circulating the net. The 3 1/2 minute opus featuring British rapper No Fixed Abode , was reportedly made in Ledger's garage in Sydney a few months before he died.

Michelle Williams walked Matilda to school this morning through a rainy Brooklyn. Ledger died during production in early 2008, so Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law stepped in to complete the role of a shape-shifting character.
