Heathcliff Andrew Ledger is an Academy Award -nominated Australian actor. In 1999, Ledger starred in the Hollywood teen comedy 10 Things I Hate about You and also had the lead role in the acclaimed Australian movie Two Hands, directed by Gregor Jordan.

He went on to star in The Patriot as Mel Gibson's character's son, Monster's Ball as Billy Bob Thornton's character's son, A Knight's Tale, Ned Kelly as the title character, The Order, and The Brothers Grimm co-starring Matt Damon.

Jude Law to judge Heath Ledger scholarship

British actor Jude Law is to judge Heath Ledger’s namesake scholarship competition, according to reports. The late Batman star died of a drugs overdose in January 2008, before completing his final movie The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus. Following his death, Law took over his role, along with Hollywood actors Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell.
