In what is most likely an event completely staged for television, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have returned the the jungle. As penance for their antics, they'll be confined to "isolation."
The mind-numbing couple spent most of their first week on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! quitting and rejoining the show. Some have speculated that it's all a ploy to dominate airtime, while others claim that the duo is really as entitled as they purport to be.
Heidi and Spencer complained from day one about their Costa Rican jungle surroundings and the level of celebrity of their fellow contestants, with branded villain Pratt complaining that he was "devaluing" his celebrity by association. They were supposedly set to return to Los Angeles earlier this week, but had a change of heart at one point, with Heidi claiming that the devil had convinced her to leave. We realized that we made a big mistake, and that the devil got to us, and said 'Get out of the jungle.' We realized that it's not even about us, it's about the charities and it's about the experience here, and we really took it for granite [sic]." Granted, Heidi, not "granite." FYI. NBC executive Paul Telegdy told Ryan Seacrest via email that the "insincere, lazy, entitled" Pratts had been sent to on-camera isolation, while the other cast members decide whether to let the pair back on the show.
With ratings slipping already, it's time to get this whole shtick over with.
