Did Heidi Montag Skip Her Sister's Birthday Party Because She Wasn't Paid to Go?

We're used to hearing less-than-flattering things said about Heidi Montag and her hubby Spencer Pratt (just ask Lauren Conrad), but a report this morning had the Internet thinking Heidi had outdone herself. Heidi was noticeably absent from her sister Holly's 26th birthday bash, and Fox News reports that the Hills star refused to go because she wasn't being paid to show up.

A source said, "Holly was really wishing that her sister could just be a sister and stop by her birthday party, but Heidi only goes places if she is getting paid. I mean, this is her sister and she wouldn’t even show up without a fee. That’s disgusting."

Would Heidi stoop this low? Gossip Cop tried to get to the bottom of the story and called Montag's rep for comment. Her spokesman said he wasn't sure Heidi even knew about the party, and "she would not ask for a fee. It’s ridiculous."

Almost as ridiculous as a gal not knowing about her own sister's birthday party.
