It's been announced on the ITV official Corrie site that Kim Crowther is to step down as Corrie producer during 2010. Kim will be replaced by ex-Doctor Who Producer Phil Collinson. Kim Crowther has made the decision to step down from the role after two and half years. She said: “Coronation Street is very special to me. Strewth! Helen Flanagan to have a boob job? Not exactly but that is what Rosie Webster wants in Coronation Street - and Helen is Rosie. It seems that Rosie wants to be a glamour and promotions girl so feels that a larger cleavage may well help her along her career path. Rosie is so keen that she's even willing to sell her beloved car to pay for her enhancement. That is, until the agency boss tells her that he'll cough up the money - and in return ... well, lets leave that to the imagination. While this is all going on Rosie's Mum, Sally, ... Read Full Story

One look at Coronation Street's Helen Flanagan and you would be forgiven for thinking two words - hedge and backwards. The 19-year-old starlet, who has played Weatherfield's troubled teen Rosie Webster for nine years, arrived at Belfast airport looking decidedly back-combed. And it was all smiles on the red carpet for Helen - despite the absence of boyfriend Daniel Scott on her ... Read Full Story

Anyway, without any further ado, here we go with this week’s Coronation Street update. John Stape’s released from jail, he’s back on the Street and in Fiz’s arms. She’s all loved up but over the road, Sally Webster’s not pleased to have John back. She doesn’t half go on about him and when Kevin tells her to shut it, she goes over the road and paints out Fiz’s ... Read Full Story

Let me count the ways. I was recently talking with a friend about Coronation Street, funny enough. She asked me why I loved the show so much. I didn't know how to answer that question, besides from declaring "because it's the BEST!" Then, I thought about it later. Reasons why I love Corrie: The Character Development It always astounds me how Corrie writers can manage to get you to know these characters so well to the point where you feel you can predict their next move. Then, to throw it all up in the air and have that character do something completely OUT of ... Read Full Story
