While most stars got their Oscar gowns from big name designers like Armani and Christian Dior, Helen Hunt got her dress from somewhere you might not expect: H&M!

The Best Supporting Actress nominee wore a gorgeous blue strapless gown that is part of H&M's recently launched eco-friendly initiative with the environmental group Global Green. Hunt paired her gown with $700,000 (yes, $700,000!) worth of jewels by Martin Katz and long, loose waves.

But sorry, if you want to pick up a copy of the star's dress for your own red carpet event, you're out of luck. Hunt's dress was a custom design and won't be available in stores.

What do you think of Helen Hunt's eco-friendly red carpet look? Check out more pics below, then hit the comments with your thoughts!
