For Palak Patel, tracking down authentic Indian herbal teas and produce near his Oak Forest home was about as convenient as traveling to India. To skirt the bi-monthly drive and aggravation of shopping in Chicago, Patel and other family members opened Swagat Foods in Oak Forest. The small but tidy space offers a seemingly endless variety of Indian teas, racks of spices and hard-to-find produce.  

In response to the vegans and veggitarians out there. If you dislike the use of 'chicken' in the form of soup (e.i. eating them) you may label your stories herbal tea. I'll check for both.This is a friendly endevor for all of us.
