NEW DELHI, Sept 4 (Reuters) - India's Hero Honda Motors Ltd is not looking to raise prices of its bikes this calendar year, a top official said on Thursday.  

Hero Honda Motors has decided not to increase the prices of two-wheelers till the end of this year. "We will not increase the prices of our vehicles till the end of this year," Hero Honda Motors Chairman Brijmohan Lall Munjal told reporters on the sidelines of an auto industry event.  

Videocon, Hero Honda, Adani and Sterling Biotech are in talks with UCO Bank for acquiring a 25% stake in the proposed financial services subsidiary of the bank.  

Country's largest two-wheeler maker Hero Honda today reported a 26.84 per cent jump in its domestic sales in August at 3,05,516 units, against 2,40,875 units in the corresponding month last year.

New Delhi, Sept. 1 Domestic automobile sales in August showed a mixed trend with Maruti Suzuki, the largest car maker, reporting a first time dip in sales in the current fiscal and the top two-wheeler maker, Hero Honda, posting robust increase in sales .  

Emkay Global Financial Services has maintained its buy rating on Hero Honda Motors with a revised target price of Rs 1028. The research firm has upgraded its earnings estimates by 2% and 5% for FY09 and FY10 to Rs 60.5 per share and Rs 70.9 per share respectively.  

KRChoksey Research has recommended a hold rating on Hero Honda Motors with a target price of Rs 878. Hero Honda’s overall two wheeler sales rose 38% yoy to 281,317 units against 203,958 units in July 2007.  

Hero Honda said that the recent price hikes only partially offset the higher input costs and is keeping options open for further price hikes. It added that its volume growth is at 17% and said it would maintain its lead over industry. It see only a single digit growth if interest rates remain high.
