I purchased this TV to replace a 42" LCD Philips TV that I have and really dislike. For one, I think Philips makes junk. The tv has horrible sound quality, the cabinet is unattractive, the HDMI engine sometimes is tempermental and needs to be unplugged to reset, and Philips customer service is among the worst. I bought this TV from sears a month back, and have no issues with it till date. picture quality is nice and so is the visual appearance. Didn't have glossy screen problems or burn in issues till now. But most importantly for me it was a great deal as I was able to buy this for ~$650. BUT, certainly check the product before you pick up your package. The first one I ordered had a big crack on the screen, but ofcourse they took it back without any issues. Second one does not have any issues... Read Full Story
