Entertainment Weekly 's Michael Ausiello reports that former Disney tween Hilary Duff has signed on for a multi-episode arc on the CW's Gossip Girl.
Duff will reportedly play Olivia Burke, "a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience." According to Ausiello, she'll be rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr). Interesting! Duff's first appearance will air October 5.
