Ironstone is one of my favorite things. Let me explain – a while ago I was looking for new plates (well new to me) and I kept seeing ironstone and being attracted to it. As I was looking I realized that ironstone when used as a component in ceramics makes it a type of stoneware that was used for heavy duty dinner services in the 19th century (according to Wikipedia). I found this Glidden Paint at Home Depot and I think this family of colors are going to be what I use with my neutrals in my living room. I have an unfinished coffee table, which I want to paint Warm Breeze. I really love Artisan and I think I may do my side tables in that. My rug in the living room is smallish, and I use it to bring the TV watching area together.
