Why learn how to ollie

First of all, ollies are fun. There's something brilliant about the simplicity of jumping the board without using your hands.

Second, ollies are pretty darn handy. You need to get up a curb, over an obstacle, etc...ollies tend to help out

Third, ollies are the foundation of many other skate tricks. If you can't ollie, you can't do much.
