The Truth About Abs Workouts To Lose Belly Fat?
By Ken Richardson
What are the best abs exercises for losing ugly belly fat? There isn't any!
The truth is abs workouts don't really burn fat because they don't increase your metabolism enough to do so. But yet, a lot of people with extra belly fat that want to expose their abs are searching for some miracle abs workout that they think will just hack the fat away in no time flat.
The problem is... they are going about it all wrong! The truth about abs exercises is that you don't lose belly fat by doing abs exercises.
The truth is you can uncover your six pack abs by having proper workout program. But if you are going to focus your time and energy on just abs exercises and abdominal workouts alone in an attempt to expose your six pack abs, you are simply going to be wasting your time.
Some of the best exercises are for losing belly fat are various forms of squats, lunges, dead lifts, clean & presses, snatches, swings, presses and pulls, mountain climbers, sprinting, etc.
These types of full body exercises would encompass a much higher percentage of the workouts instead of abs exercises directly targeting the midsection. The way you combine those full body exercises into a strategic workout that maximizes your metabolism is also very important.
Exercises that target the abs and core directly are important, however they are only a small percentage of the exercises needed so your time would be better spent doing full body exercises so that you can stimulate the most hormonal and metabolic changes within your body. Also, even though you are not targeting your midsection using full bodied exercises, indirectly you are still working your entire midsection.
Keep in mind that it doesn't matter how hard you workout, the most important thing in exposing your six pack abs is nutrition. Nutrition is without a doubt "king" to getting a six pack set of abs. If your diet is full of junk then you will never get rid of that ugly belly fat that covers up your six pack.
So to clarify...
Focus on high intensity full body lifts using combination multi-joint exercises all strategically combined into highly effective fat loss workouts in your efforts to try to develop 6-pack abs. Stop wasting so much of your time focusing on situps, crunches, leg raises, and all those silly worthless "ab contraptions". Include that with a healthy diet full of natural unprocessed whole foods as close to their natural state as possible, and those elusive six-pack abdominals will yours in no time!
