But there are also a variety of sit up devices that do a very good job at working out your abdominal muscles.  Some of these abdominal machines allow you to sit in a chair while you move up and down in order to work the abdominal muscles. These particular ab devices work well in giving you that slimmer look around your stomach and waistline. But there are quite a number of ab exercises you can do while you are suspended in mid air. For example, the challenging exercise of hanging leg raises can be used to really build up your midsection. If you are interested in doing hanging leg raises, you can buy general ab straps, or a simple bar that you can hang or attach to other equipment.

The main thing you need to realize is that different kinds of abdominal equipment work out your ab muscles in different ways. Are all of these ab devices sure to work like those “as seen on tv” infomercials claim they should? They definitely do not work that good. This is why it is crucial for you to understand the functionality of abdominal machines so that you know which one will work best for you. As for me, I’ve concluded that the abs rocket machine is the best machine for my needs. But it may not be the same for you.
