Hrant Dink

A program aired on the State TV (TRT) claimed that Hrant Dink, Armenian journalist who was murdered in front of his office in January 2007, was responsible for the Maraş Massacre against the Alevis thirty years ago.  

Haber-Sen Union demands an apology from Şahin, Director for the Turkish Radio and Television (TRT), for letting Şendiller, a former suspect of the Maraş Massacre, to pin the responsibility of the massacre on murdered Armenian journalist Hrant Dink and his friends.  

Following an investigation into those who were suspected of dereliction of duty in the Hrant Dink murder case, a prosecutor has filed a lawsuit against former Trabzon Gendarmerie Commander Col.  

After countless obstacles, Trabzon’s Chief Prosecutor’s Office submitted the indictment for the six gendarme officials who are accused of neglect in the murder of Hrant Dink.
