Hugh Jackman Treats Wife Deborra-Lee Furness to Date Nights

Hugh Jackman has been married to his wife Deborra-Lee Furness since 1996, and they've managed to keep the spark alive over the years. Hugh chalked their marital success up to the fact that they always make time to be together. He told America’s OK! magazine: “Make sure you have a date night just the two of you together, without the kids.”

The 41-year-old actor has two adopted children, nine-year-old Oscar and four-year-old Ava, with his wife, who, he met on the set of Australian TV show Correlli.

Although Hugh will be acting alongside James Bond actor Daniel Craig in the Broadway play Steady Rain on Halloween, he will still be making time for his family. He said: “I’m going to be trick-or-treating. I’ll help them get dressed.”

Hugh has often spoken of how he knew he would marry Deborra-Lee as soon as he saw her on the Correlli set in 1995. He said: “She was beautiful and larger than life. Everyone on set was in love with her. I had a crush on her for ages and started planning my proposal after three months.”
