Who are the victims? Anyone and everyone -- despite gender, race, or age -- are candidates for the human trafficking industry.
Where and when are humans trafficked? Humans are trafficked from everywhere to everywhere. Most victims are from Eastern Europe, Asia, Africa, and Central America. Humans are trafficked on the streets, through global chains, and more commonly online through sites such as eBay and Craigslist. About 1.2 million of only children are trafficked annually. That does not include victims above 18 years-old.
