While some things in life are free, others can cost one cent. The explanation for this real deal is probably computer related. The item, a small package of eye-hooks, most likely would have had a retail price of around one dollar. When the cashier scanned the item and it displayed one cent, she asked her supervisor for advice and was told that if the scan said it was one cent then one cent it was. With some investors now taking a more cautious approach, the stock market is slow to bounce back. While there appears to be some good opportunities, albeit still with the risks associated with stock market investments, people are looking at diversifying their investment savings. Some of the safe investments such as Treasury bills, GIC’s etc carry lower returns and are more attractive to those that place security above risk. Land investment is another good option. I looked at some opportunities in the city area but ... Read Full Story
