“Humphrey Bogart – The Signature Collection, Vol. 2″ may be as entertaining a collection of Bogart films, as he emerged as a major WB star, as you’ll ever find. They run the gamut of early classic noir, espionage, action/adventure, broad comedy, and moody morality tale, each exceptional, and stamped with the distinctive Bogie ’style’. “The Maltese Falcon” (1941) – One of the earliest examples of the style that became known as Film Noir, John Huston’s crime classic has been described as the finest detective film ever made, and certainly deserves the title! The second teaming of the director and star (”High Sierra” had been ... Read Full Story

If you love old movies, then you know what Humphrey Bogart did for the cigar. He made it into fashion for the tough guys, the fast talkers, the don't-mess-with-me's of the 1940's and early 50's. So too, this English bull dog named Sam could be the fashion setter for the tough barkin' dog. "Hey babe, lets go to the burbs t'night and chase some cats up some telephone poles." Read Full Story

In this unusual but authentic in-person pencil signature of legendary actor Humphrey Bogart (1899-1957). Along with Mr. Bogart’s signature are those of New York Yankees pitchers Don Larsen (1929- ), Tom Morgan (1930-1987) and Hall of Fame Broadcaster Mel Allen (1913-1996). All of these signatures were obtained outside of Yankee Stadium on September 29, 1955 following Game 2 of the 1955 World Series between the Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers. The 73 year old family friend I obtained this from was selling raffle tickets outside Yankee Stadium at the Player’s Entrance/Exit well after the game ended when various players and celebrities exited near him. Bogart ... Read Full Story

"We'll always have Paris. We didn't have, we'd lost it until you came to Casablanca. We got it back last night." So famously said Humphrey Bogart to Ingrid Bergman in the marvelous conclusion of one of the greatest films of all time, "Casablanca."On Wednesday, MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell shamelessly used a version of this line on White House advisor David Axelrod.During her interview about yesterday's election results, including Bill Owens...
