Idaho's Capitol For May:

Govenor Otter has chosen Priest River as the town to be the host Capitol for May. Priest River is seven miles east of Washington State and sevent-five miles south of Canada. It has a population of approximately 1,700. It will be "Capitol for the Day" for Govenor Butch Otter and members of his staff on May 20th.

The Govenor and his official staff will meet with the local officials between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They plan to discuss a variety of issues, concerning to the local people, which range from flood control, transportation, land endowment and economic development.
