Just another Latino “gang” story that did not make national headlines, but then why is the national media being silent on criminal illegal aliens Latinos activities, on mayhems they are causing to sanctuary cities and the lack of effort to fix our broken borders?

California’s love affairs with sanctuary cities and criminal Hispanic illegal aliens are still on going.

A once deported illegal alien, and a famed LA youth gang mentor was arrested by the FBI for running a violent MS-13 gang at the same time. Not only he was using taxpayer money to fund his gang activities, he was also involved behind several homicides.

Alex Sanchez, who recently won high praises as director of an LA anti-gang non-profit organization, the Homies Unidos (homeboys united,) was arrested by the FBI on suspicion as being the infamous “Rebelde” or Rebel, who was secretly running a local chapter of the ruthless MS-13 gang and who was behind several murders.

Sanchez had come to Los Angeles from El Salvador at the age of 7 with his illegal parents, and then joined the Mara Salvatrucha gangs since he was 14 years old. He was deported back around 1994, and then snuck back across the open border. He beat a second deportation by winning asylum.

On the heels of another mass arrest of another California criminal illegal alien gangs, the VGH Gang, VHG Gang-Racist Latino Gang Taken Down in Hawaiian Gardens California; Involved in “Ethnic Cleansing” of Blacks from the City, Drugs and Murder: “The largest gang takedown in the United States history just happened in LA and the mainstream media, except for the Examiner and the LA Times chose to totally ignore this big story,” but why?

“A Latino street gang made up of both, undocumented and ABL’s (American Born Latinos,) most born from illegal alien parents, waged a racist campaign that included murder of a deputy sheriff, attempted murders, and other violent crimes against the city’s black residents, while flooding the area with guns and drugs, according to federal racketeering indictments unsealed last Thursday.”

And with the most recent San Francisco scandals involving their District Attorney, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein Appropriated Federal Funds for San Francisco DA's Program that Expunged & Kept Illegal’s Criminal Records from the Feds: “It also involves a taxpayer funded jobs program in lieu of jail, that were being provided for San Francisco’s criminal illegal aliens, and upon the completion of the program, they would have their criminal records expunged from the criminal system. Which even the Federal government wouldn’t be aware of these undocumented’s criminal past and statuses.

Edwin Ramos was that criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, and a gangbanger, who gunned down a father and his two sons with an AK47 last year, and who had been protected from the feds, and deportations, by San Francisco’s archaic sanctuary policies during his years of crime sprees.”

This lunacy has got to come to a stop. Sanctuary cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles, with their lax policies on criminal illegal aliens; they are allowing these gangs to thrive, commit crimes and endangering the lives of our citizens.

Enough is enough, President Obama and our U.S. congress need to put an immediate stop on illegal border crossings now. It’s about high time to get it done. How on earth are we going to take care of our current immigration problems, without finding any solutions to stopping the flow of traffic on our porous southern borders?

Nationally recognized 'gang peacemaker' arrested in gang sweep [Updated]
A nationally recognized anti-gang leader was among those named in a federal indictment targeting several Mara Salvatrucha gang members who authorities said today have been involved in multiple slayings, extortion and assaults.

Alex Sanchez, executive director of Homies Unidos, was taken into custody by FBI agents this morning at his Bellflower home. Sanchez and several members of MS-13, one of the nation's most ruthless and notorious gangs, were named as a co-conspirators in the indictment, which will be unsealed later today, said FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller.
The indictment alleges that the gang terrorized the Lafayette Park area west of downtown Los Angeles.

The case of Sanchez, who admitted being a member of the MS-13 gang as a youth but said he had sworn off the gang lifestyle, became a cause celebre early in the decade when authorities attempted to deport the self-described gang peacemaker.

In 1994, Sanchez was deported to his home country of El Salvador because of a decade-old auto-theft conviction and a subsequent parole violation for possessing a firearm. A year later, he returned illegally to the U.S. and eventually helped form the local chapter of Homies Unidos.

Sanchez was granted political asylum after successfully arguing that he might be killed if he was returned to El Salvador because of his links to the Salvadoran gang and his stand against police corruption. Sanchez said he was a victim of harassment by the Los Angeles Police Department, and his case was highlighted by police critics during the Rampart corruption scandal.

Federal indictment targets MS-13, anti-gang activist

Federal authorities said today they have arrested two dozen members and associates of the Mara Salvatrucha gang, who were allegedly involved in a series of crimes in Los Angeles over the last 15 years, including conspiracy, extortion, witness intimidation and murder.

The arrests cap a three-year investigation into the gang and its cliques, which operated in the Lafayette Park area, west of downtown. Among the most serious allegations contained in a 16-count federal indictment unsealed today was the claim gang members conspired to murder veteran LAPD gang officer Frank Flores.

Those named in the indictment include Alex Sanchez, a nationally recognized anti-gang leader and executive director of Homies Unidos. Federal authorities accuse him of conspiring to commit murder in May 2006, during the time he was involved in anti-gang outreach efforts, although Flores was not the target. They did not provide details on the murder plot.

MS-13 allegedly killed seven people and conspired to kill another eight since 1985, authorities said.

Asst. Chief U.S. Atty. George Cardona said in a news conference that Sanchez was a shot-caller with the Normandie clique of MS-13 and conspired to commit the 2006 killing during the time his organization was taking public and private funds.
"He took public funds while furthering the gang," Cardona said.

LAPD Chief William J. Bratton said the Sanchez case reinforces the thinking behind the city’s efforts to consolidate and more strongly regulate anti-gang funding.
