Andrew Lloyd Webber, the composer of such hit musicals as "The Phantom of the Opera" and "Cats", was back in hospital on Wednesday after developing an infection from an operation for prostate cancer. "Andrew has been re-admitted to hospital tonight following his operation for prostate cancer," said a statement posted on his website late Tuesday. "He has been advised that while the operation was entirely successful, he has developed a post-operative 'chronic infection' which needs immediate treatment. A statement on his website said that despite the complication, which needed immediate treatment, the 61-year-old's cancer operation was "entirely successful." Andrew Lloyd Webber has been readmitted to hospital after developing an infection following surgery for prostate cancer. A statement on the composer's Web site Wednesday said he had come down with a postoperative chronic infection that needed immediate treatment. The 61-year-old artist announced last month that he had been diagnosed with early stage prostate cancer, and underwent surgery.
