The Andes of Peru

It is hard to say exactly what makes this destination so special but many think that it is the contrast between the native and western cultures that are clearly on display. Surrounded by six mountains, possessing the oldest city in the western hemisphere and having been the home of ancient Inca civilisation, Cusco possibly has some of the most beautiful views in the world.
