Ahhhh The Automatic. Forever sent to indie pops dustbin by default, loosing credibility when they went all ‘rock’n’roll’ at GMTV and loosing the keyboardist. Y’know, the one everyone loved. Or were they? See the Automatic may not be cool, lovable or (until this album gets around a bit) credible but when they gained Paul Mullen, him of yourcodenameis:milo fame, they might of just gained the kind of rocking guy which they’ve always been searching for.
