Indianapolis Colts The dynamic duo of Manning to Harrison is no more (for now) and the running game seems to be going backwards. The defense is small and new head coach Jim Caldwell seems to want to rectify that. With Peyton at quarterback the Colts will always have a chance to make the playoffs, but the Colts seem to need a big shot of youth and new energy. Maybe the preachings of Tony Dungy lulled this team to sleep the past couple of seasons. Injuries have also taken a toll, especially on the offensive line. As the highly anticipated NFL season approaches the question marks surrounding teams will soon be answered. The Indianapolis Colts are a team that tends to build from the draft instead of taking part in the big name free agency signings and trades which leave little to no off-season buzz surrounding the team. This year is different though, the departure of long time number one option Marvin Harrison, who began to show signs of his age as well as the retirement of head coach Tony Dungy and overhaul of the coaching staff has proven to be plenty to cause much off-season discussion. With the off-season ... Read Full Story

Much has been written about the Indianapolis Colts season to this point. Most of it very good.Certainly everyone expected the offense to be good; after all, Peyton Manning is still the quarterback and anything that comes after that has to be a cut above average. His 7.3 completion percentage is a bit better than most could have forseen.
