The American rockers’ 2001 debut LP topped a list compiled by British music magazine NME made up of votes from record producers, label bosses and musicians, including members of Radiohead and Arctic Monkeys who both rank highly. Troubled rocker Pete Doherty saw three of his albums make the list, with his former band The Libertines coming in second place with their debut effort ‘Up The Bracket’. You Should Know I can't find much biographical information on Snow In Mexico so let's keep this short and sweet. I've surmised that they are an Italian duo that makes dreamy shoegaze music sans drummer. Backed by drum machine beats, the band's EP is filled with hauntingly echoed vocals and floating guitars. They are a bit reminiscent of Slowdive, which is interesting because I've been on a major Mojave 3 kick lately (Neil Halstead was in Slowdive).
