Reflections of Past Computer Achievements
Here we are again. At a break to catch up and reflect before burying oneself again in cyberspace.
As I was reminiscing of where the internet started, and how far we have come, I was drawn to thoughts of the inception of computers being made available to everyone. I thought I would share some historical perspective on where we have come from with computers. Not all the way back, but from the point of beginning mass availability.
Of course, the corporate world had already begun the big fight with IBM PC with an eye to the general consumer market, but it was Apple that thrust the spear deeply into the marketplace.
So, the next time I start to complain about how difficult working with computers or the internet may be, I stop and consider the past, be thankful for the present and push on to the hope of the future.
Here are a few videos from the historical archives.
Enjoy.
