from Lazlo's Basement     He may be America, but he’s not on the ballot.   South Carolina committee members, aided apparently by local mindreaders, decided yesterday that Stephen Colbert , political satirist and host of Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report , is not serious about running for president and therefore denied his application to run in the South Carolina democratic primary. Committee members who initially accepted Colbert’s $2500 filing fee now state that the fee will be returned.
