Children from Interracial Relationships

Interracial Children are spread all-over America. They are evidence that two individuals from different cultures actually had relations. However, most people against interracial unions are usually worried about the children factor…especially when it's a case of children from black/white relationships.

Attitudes towards interracial marriages in most cases are usually based on worries about the children that will be born. Main issue is, will they be accepted in to the community. And which culture will they embrace or belong to? Will they live a life of social ambiguity?

Most parents feel like their children who are involved in interracial relationships must sacrifice their love for the sake of the children. It's like bringing up children into a world that will give then conflicts to deal with after they are born. When faced with such realities, an interracial couple may be uncomfortable with the idea of having children with their partners.

However I feel that love is worth the effort. People shouldn't care about the color of the children. Looking at Mixed Race celebrities and how they have turned out, interracial children signify hope…a beginning of racial integration. They signify a loving couple coming together in their love for each other; and along the way brings a child sealed their happy union.
