X_woman is a very prolific stitcher. She completes projects in "a month to a month and a half" that would take me a year (mainly because I don't usually work on one project very long without switching to something else). And they aren't just any projects either. Her choices are detailed with metallic flosses and beads and lots of back stitch. In addition to the Kitty'ed up bathroom, now I have finished the cross-stitch project I started (and then abandoned) ages ago. It'll be framed in 2010!I don't know exactly what urged me to take up cross-stitch again. Probably as a means to procrastinate, and shut up the voices in my head (it always works). I have loads and loads of handmade ornaments, but last year, I got a new artificial tree and it is ample enough to hold loads and loads more ornaments. We have decided not to put the tree up this holiday season, so I am taking the time I would be putting it up and decorating it to make more new ornaments!
