Prosecutors are to give the first public glimpse into the case against the man accused of killing a Kansas college student who led a secret life as an Internet porn model. Israel Mireles is scheduled to have his preliminary hearing on Tuesday. He is charged with capital murder, rape and aggravated criminal sodomy in Emily Sander's death. An attorney for Mireles didn't immediately return a call Tuesday for comment. If the judge decides to take the case to trial, Mireles would then enter a plea. A man suspected of killing a Kansas college student who led a secret life as an Internet porn model is being held on a $3 million bond in Kansas following his extradition from Mexico. Israel Mireles, 26, made his first court appearance Friday before Butler County District Judge David Ricke in El Dorado. Butler County Attorney Jan Satterfield asked the judge to raise Mireles bond to $3 million, noting he had fled to Mexico after the Sander's murder. EL DORADO, Kan., June 26 (UPI) -- A judge in Butler County, Kan., said Friday the man accused of killing Internet porn model Zoey Zane will be held on $3 million bond. Butler County District Judge David Ricke read the charges of capital murder, rape and aggravated criminal sodomy filed against Israel Guadalupe Mireles over the death of the 18-year-old model, The Wichita Eagle said.
