hello engineers,
i have a vacuum pump in evaporator plant of chemical recovery boiler,
the shaft shears from centre betwwen hub of its rotor.
the material of shaft id stainless steel. as we know it is much costly than en-8.
i want to know can i replace ss shaft with en-8 .

The Penn Coach Yard chimney, a Drexel landmark located next to 30th Street Station at the Pennsylvania Railroad Steam Plant, will be demolished Sunday Nov. 8, at 7:30 a.m. by Controlled Demolition, Inc., after 70 years of existence.
