Woman Brands Date with Hot Iron

Here's a lesson for all the men out there that think it's OK to sleep with a girl and never call her again.

Kristina Caban, a 23-year-old college student branded the letter "R" on Samir Sara's stomach for having sex with her in 2004 and never calling her again.

Caban hatched an elaborate plan with new boyfriend Robert Testagrossa and another man, which involved luring Sara into a room, then holding him down so Caban could brand him.

Assistant District Attorney Nicole Blumberg told the court that the three attackers used a taser gun on Sara, to immobilize him first, then kicked him while he writhed in pain.

He was then branded with the letter, which was made of metal wire fashioned into the letter "R" and heated. Still no word on what the "R" stood for, but on Friday Caban was sentenced to five years in prison for the crime.

Both Caban and Testagrossa plead guilty to assault, in exchange for five-year sentences. Testagrossa was sentenced in February, and Caban was allowed extra time to graduate before going to prison.

Sara on the other hand is sentenced to living a lifetime with a bizarre letter burned into his stomach.
