A few years ago, my old roomate, who is a huge Buffalo Bills fan, got wrapped up in the JP Losman mania. The Bills won their first game of the season Sunday, with rookie quarterback Trent Edwards making the first start of his career.

Ready or not — and let’s be frank, most people have been ready since the 2007 draft — it’s T rent Edwards time in Buffalo. Former first-round pick J.P. Coach Dick Jauron was at least tossing around the idea of playing Gibran Hamdan this week against the Denver Broncos if Trent Edwards isn’t available. The Bills were hoping J. P. Losman would spark their offense while Edwards nursed a groin injury, but he did little to help them or his future. “I wouldn’t say that I wouldn’t [play Hamdan],” Jauron said this week.
