J.P. Losman, a former first round draft pick of the Buffalo Bills, has signed with the Oakland Raiders after leaving the NFL for the UFL and winning a championship with the Las Vegas Locomotives. Losman quickly jumped at the opportunity to rejoin the NFL after recent starter Bruce Gradkowski injured both knees against the Redskins. J.P. isn't much better than any other QB out there, and it raises questions regarding the confidence the Raiders...  

An ankle injury prevented Buffalo Bills starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick from practicing Wednesday, opening the possibility for second-year pro Brian Brohm to make his NFL debut at Atlanta this weekend.  

It has been reported that Charlie Frye will be starting in place of injured Bruce Gradkowski Sunday against the Broncos.  Tom Cable obviously does not think that JaMarcus Russell is capable of leading the team.  Yesterday the Raiders signed J.P. Losman as insurance. It looks like the JaMarcus Russell era is coming to an end.

After wearing out his welcome in St. Louis, guard Richie Incognito will get a chance for a fresh start with the Buffalo Bills. The injury-depleted Bills claimed Incognito off waivers on Wednesday a day after the player was released by the Rams, according to a person familiar with the move, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the team had not made an announcement.  

Amid accusations that Randy Moss has quit, concerns whether Tom Brady has lost his magic touch and with an inability to win a road game on this side of the Atlantic, Kevin Faulk readily acknowledges the Patriots might be vulnerable. "By the way that we're playing as a football team, yes, we are vulnerable," the New England running back said this week.

Buffalo Bills safety Jairus Byrd will require surgery to repair a groin injury, putting an end to the rookie's sensational season. Byrd, who leads the NFL with nine interceptions, was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday, becoming the 18th Bills player this year to go on the season-ending list.  

Turns out there's nothing wrong with Randy Moss or the New England Patriots that facing their perennial patsy, the Buffalo Bills, can't fix. Doesn't mean it was pretty. A week after being accused of quitting by Carolina Panthers defenders, Moss bounced back with five catches for 70 yards and a touchdown in a 17-10 win Sunday.  

Buffalo Bills defensive end Aaron Schobel is contemplating retirement after this season because he's frustrated after nine years of missing the playoffs and worried he's lost a step as the team's top pass-rusher. "I don't know my future really, what I'm going to do," Schobel told two reporters after practice Wednesday.  

Bills cornerback Terrence McGee is done for the season, and it's suddenly unclear who'll start at quarterback this weekend after injuries forced Buffalo to re-sign former third-stringer Gibran Hamdan.  

Bills interim coach Perry Fewell is taking a wait-and-see approach with his quarterbacks after starter Ryan Fitzpatrick missed his second straight practice because of an ankle injury.
