JaMarcus Russell , a former player for the Oakland Raiders, was arrested today in Alabama, according to AL.com . He was apparently accused of possession of a controlled substance, which was determined to be codeine syrup. He was arrested in his home after authorities conducted an undercover investigation. Apparently there were other people in the home, but JaMarcus was the only one arrested. No prescription for the codeine was found. JaMarcus was arrested then quickly released on $2,500 bail...
