Maria Bello is in final negotiations to join the all-star comedy cast of Columbia's untitled film project being produced by Adam Sandler and Jack Giarraputo via their Happy Madison shingle. The script, by Fred Wolf and Sandler, revolves around high school friends who reunite 30 years later. Fri, 24 Apr 2009 "Blade" star Stephen Dorff has signed on to play a porn star in a Sony Pictures new comedy from Adam Sandler. "Born to Be a Star" will also star Christina Ricci. The story - co-written by Sandler, Allen Covert and Nick Swardson - will focus on a small-town Midwestern nerd (Swardson) who discovers his parents were famous porn stars. Dorff will play Dick Shadow, a legendary porn star, while Ricci will play his girlfriend. Sandler will produce with Jack Giarraputo. Production kicks off next week.
