The story this time seems to be that young Smith goes to China with his mum where he is pounced upon by the local bully. I don’t particularly like remakes and this one is no exception. I will make a wee bit of an exception for Jackie Chan and Will Smith’s son, Jaden Smith, in the new “Karate Kid” movie.
Let us all hope. All of us who were able to witness the glory of the original films about a coming of age tale of a young man…let us collectively pray that this will be worth viewing. Having posted a brand new image yesterday for the remake of The Karate Kid , I do feel like I repeating myself slightly. However having said that there are three more images to join the previous one (pictured above). Starring Will Smith’s youngest, Jaden and Jackie Chan as Mr. Han, this “remake” takes the popular 1984 movie and moves the protagonists to China.
