Gulliver Prep High School in Miami, Florida is dedicating their new football field to former University of Miami and Washington Redskins safety, the late, great Sean Taylor next Friday, Sept. 4 prior to their 4 p.m. home game. On November 26, 2007, at 1:45 am. EST, Taylor was shot in the upper leg by an armed intruder at his Palmetto Bay, Florida, home, where he had been recuperating from a football injury. He was mortally wounded in his femoral artery. Taylor was airlifted to the Ryder Trauma Center in Miami, where he underwent surgery. He emerged from surgery about 12:30 p.m. He had lost ...
