Jam Bands Review

Checked out moe . at Terminal 5 this past Friday in NYC. This was my first trip to T5 and was pretty happy with the venue.  Plenty of space on the three levels, multiple bars (no real wait, like at Roseland) and friendly to smokers with a really nice smokers patio. This was my first moe. show since seeing them at Ives Center, CT (another great venue).  Boy did they look GREAT! Hey, no surprises here and as usual I am probably behind the times. Who the hell is John Mayer?  I mean, I know who he is, even heard a song on the radio and recognized it was his but... I am a huge fan of Umphrey's McGee (UM).  I believe they are extremely talented musicians, actually as I tell friends, probably some of the most proficient lives acts I have ever seen.  I like some bands better, but don't think that they are as talented as UM.
