Fleming wrote numerous novels and short stories based upon the character and, after his death in 1964, further literary adventures were written by Kingsley Amis, John Pearson, John Gardner, Raymond Benson, and Charlie Higson. In addition, Christopher Wood wrote two screenplay novelisations and other authors have also written various unofficial permutations of the character.

I can remember watching my first bond film at the age of 13. I watched Sean Connery's Dr. No. I was simply mesmerized by 007. The charm, action, and witty dialogue captured my attention. JUST recently, producer Michael G. Wilson said work had started on the next 007 adventure - known only as Bond 23 at the moment - and that Daniel Craig was keen to return for a third outing as the agent.
The Observer has now reported that screenwriter Paul Haggis is likely to be involved in the script. Haggis had reworked the screenplays for Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, both penned by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. He had also turned down an offer to direct Quantum.
