Wolverine's self-loathing is a little out of hand in James Mangold's semi-sequel. After Wolverine, sorry, Logan and his hobo beard are tracked down and brought to Japan, Weapon X is faced with a curious proposition: mortality. Turns out some dude Wolverine saved in WWII wants to repay the favor by "curing" him of his mutation, which would mean no fast healing-action, no super-senses, and, presumably, no indestructible anamantium skeleton and claws.
