The other day, I met singer James McCartney. Yes, he is the son of Sir Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney! It’s always a pleasure to meet the son of a Beatle! In addition to being related to rock royalty, James McCartney is also a singer/songwriter as well as a sculptor. James was super cool in spite of sub-zero temperatures that day. His debut EP “Available Light” is now available. Thanks again James!

HOLMES BEACH, Fla. — Longtime Washington correspondent and columnist James McCartney has died in Florida at the age of 85.
McCartney’s family said in a statement that he died of cancer Friday at his home in Holmes Beach.
McCartney covered foreign affairs and defense policy in Washington, first for the Chicago Daily News from 1959 to 1965 and then for Knight Ridder Newspapers from 1968 until 1995.
